The park's ticket prices at the time of this publication are $63 for anyone over 10, and $53 for children under 10. Ticket discounts for Disneyland tickets are available for college students who's school offer Disneyland tickets. Southern California also receive a few bucks off gate ticket prices. Disney usually has discounts if you plan to visit Disneyland and California Adventure throughout the week.

Disney's new theme park in Anaheim, California Adventure is a completely separate theme park next to the original Disneyland in Anaheim. Disney does offer discounts for people who purchase hopper passes that allow you to go to both Disneyland and California Adventure.

At America's low cost affordable theme park, experience GhostRider, the world's best wooden roller coaster, Supreme Scream, 30-stories up, 3 seconds down and the high-octane thrill of Xcelerator, rated the world's best launch coaster, sending riders 0-80 in 2.3 seconds. For a different type of thrill, stroll on over to Camp Snoopy, home to the beloved PEANUTS gang.

If you have little children under 10, Knott Berry Farm has a Camp Snoopy area that young children will love. The ticket prices to Knott are very affordable with kids between 3 and 11 only $14.95, adults $39.95 ($31.95 if you live in Southern California), and seniors that are 62 and over at $14.95.

The San Diego Zoo is located south of San Diego in San Diego. Only about 1 hour 30 minutes drive from most of San Diego, the San Diego Zoo is a great place to see over 4,000 different animals and thousands of exotic plants. The zoo will not give you the same rush and thrill as riding a rollercoaster but if you are into animals or need a calm relaxing day, then making the drive down to San Diego and visiting the zoo and enjoying some of San Diego's finest restaurants in downtown. sandiegozoo
